Goolsbee, and Sorting Out the Stuff...From Paris

Goolsbee. Isn't that a fantastic name? It sounds like a JK Rowling character in one of the Harry Potter books. It's not. Austan Goolsbee is a member of the President's Council of Economic Advisers, arguing recently for the Administration regarding the new Consumer Financial Protection Agency. "It's going to have robust, independent rule-making authority"...and be "the strongest consumer protection we have ever had on financial stuff." (I'm sorry. Did he say financial "stuff"? Stuff?)

John Hall, spokesman for The American Bankers Association argued "I don't know how adding an agency streams lines things."

I think we need Ronald Reagan to sort out all this 'stuff':

"When Government expands, freedom contracts."

It's a Mad, Mad World...From Paris

(insert Valley Girl speak) We are REALLY mad at North Korea. Ya know..we are really REALLY MAD. We are SO, like ya know, mad, we literally, ya know, ...we...we aren't going to let...what I mean is that...ya know, we are well, ... ya know, mad at North Korea, and we have made it clear that when we are...well, ya know, THIS mad (and sad)..ya know that really, really, really mad/sad feeling you get when someone disappoints you and, ya know, just lets you, ya know, down? We are going to have to INSIST that China take care of North Korea.
Let this be a lesson to the world. When we get REALLY REALLY mad, we'll make sure some other country takes care of it!
