From Paul. I agree, this does violate your privacy, but your cell phone does the same thing. Where are the Libs and the Conservatives on this?

The Government Can Use GPS to Track Your Moves

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2013150,00.html#ixzz0xxGSwO8M

Government agents can sneak onto your property in the middle of the night, put a GPS device on the bottom of your car and keep track of everywhere you go. This doesn't violate your Fourth Amendment rights, because you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in your own driveway — and no reasonable expectation that the government isn't tracking your movements.

Mission Accomplished?...From Paris

President Obama is out of touch, tonedeaf and sadly misguided.
His economic advisers clamor to add insult to injury --"It could have been so much worse. There could have been more jobs lost. Thank goodness we had 'O' in charge! If we had not thrown trillions at the problem, we would have been in REALLY, REALLY bad shape!"
Please. Serious people are shaking their serious heads in slow shock and morbid disbelief.
I think we can comfortably establish the fact that the absurd statements about how much worse it could have been, are President Obama's "Mission Accomplished" moments. At some point in the near future, there will be solumn unanimous nodding. Most will conclude that President Obama was wrong. We are in fact worse, not better, since he has taken office.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: 10 REASONS WHY PEOPLE ARE MISSING BUSH. Excerpt:

We naturally compare Bush to his chief critic and successor Barack Obama — and find the latter increasingly wanting as time goes by. Obama turned Bush’s misdemeanor deficits into felonious trillion-dollar annual shortfalls. He will pile up more debt than any other prior president. . . . Bush was tarred in 2004 for a ‘jobless recovery’ when unemployment hovered near 6%. It is now almost 10% and Obama still harps about ‘jobs saved.’ Scott McClellan may have been singularly inept; we are not so sure after Robert Gibbs.

Obama's DOJ Fights Arizona, Not Criminals

Barack Obama and Eric Holder are presiding over a dangerously politicized Department of Justice. Most people don't follow the news closely enough to understand what Obama and Holder have done to the Department, but by rights this should be a major campaign issue. Today Byron York puts the spotlight on the feds' war against the State of Arizona. The Obama administration has opened several fronts in that war: a lawsuit that tries to force Arizona to stop enforcing the immigration laws; another case against the Maricopa Community College system that alleges the system illegally requires job seekers to produce a green card; and a third lawsuit against the Maricopa County Sheriff's office which accuses that office of civil rights violations.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics closed the books on "Recovery Summer" today:

Nonfarm payroll employment changed little (-54,000) in August, and the unemployment rate was about unchanged at 9.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

The unemployment rate was 9.5 percent when "Recovery Summer" got underway in June. Can we all agree now that the administration's economic policies have failed?
