Arianna Huffington's liberal-leaning Huffington Post was forced to write a retraction Tuesday after alleging that conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart doctored a video clip from a White House press briefing in order to make it look like CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell was unhappy about the recent debt compromise during an exchange with White House press secretary Jay Carney.

Speaking about the “terrorist” rhetoric employed against tea partiers during the debt-deal debate, Sarah Palin said that President Obama “wouldn’t have a problem” with tea partiers if they were “real domestic terrorists.”

“If we were really domestic terrorists, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us, wouldn’t he?” Palin told Fox News host Sean Hannity last night.

“I mean he didn’t have a problem with paling around with Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers’s apartment, and then shaking hands with [Hugo] Chavez and saying he doesn’t need any preconditions with meeting dictators or wanting to read U.S. Miranda rights to alleged suspected foreign terrorists,” Palin added.

Sharron Walters could not afford one more monthly bill.

But without a phone, it would be difficult for Walters, who relies on a wheelchair, to secure rides to and from her daily errands. She also could not keep in touch with her son, who lives out of town.

Three months ago, Walters, 48, of Swissvale started using Assurance Wireless, a program of Sprint subsidiary Virgin Mobile that provides free cell phones and 250 monthly minutes to people receiving government support such as Medicaid or food stamps.

"The service they provide is just truly a blessing," she said.

In Pennsylvania, two programs offer free cell service: Assurance Wireless and SafeLink from Tracfone Wireless, which specializes in "no-contract" cellular service. The federal Universal Service Fund, which all telecommunications providers support as required by federal law, pays for the programs.
